404ops AI Content Generator automates blog post creation for a WordPress category, or for a one-off topic through Quick Generate. It gathers sources, writes the post with the AI provider you choose, and leaves it as a draft or publishes it according to a quality score. You bring your own AI key. The plugin has no 404ops-hosted service.
Features
- Category-based generation: for each category, set keywords, search queries, an AI provider and a publishing schedule, from daily through weekly to every 2 to 12 hours.
- Quick Generate, which queues up to 20 draft posts per submission in small background batches.
- Source gathering from DuckDuckGo by default, with optional Tavily and SearXNG search and optional YouTube and Reddit sources. Nothing is invented when a source is empty.
- Writing with Ollama, OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini.
- Multilingual output with WPML or Polylang.
- Quality scoring for readability, originality, SEO and structure. A draft below your minimum gets one self-critique revision, kept only if it scores higher. A category publishes automatically only when Auto Publish is on and the score meets your minimum.
- Featured images taken from a source article's Open Graph or Twitter Card image, with an optional Openverse fallback (off by default) and optional AI image generation.
- An SEO pass for Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress or The SEO Framework when active, plus internal links to related posts.
- Source tracking and duplicate detection. Generation is skipped when a similar title was published in the last 30 days.
