404ops Backup
Back up your WordPress database or any external MySQL database, on a schedule, with one-click restore.
404ops Backup creates database backups with PHP's built-in mysqli extension, so no shell access, mysqldump binary or other external tool is required. Back up your WordPress database, or connect to any external MySQL server and dump it to a compressed, integrity-checked SQL file. Schedule backups hourly, twice daily, daily, weekly or monthly, with a retention count that prunes older backups automatically.
Features
- Scheduled backups: hourly, twice daily, daily, weekly or monthly.
- A configurable retention count that removes older backups automatically.
- One-click restore, or a non-destructive test restore to validate an archive before you rely on it.
- Scheduled backups are test-restored automatically after they complete. A failed test restore is reported in the log and by email.
- Back up the WordPress database or any external MySQL database.
- An optional notification webhook for failures and completed backups, sent to a Slack or Discord incoming webhook or an endpoint of your own.
- Optional offsite copies to up to three S3-compatible services or WebDAV folders, off by default for each backup.
- Optional plain-English backup summaries and failure explanations, using an AI provider you connect yourself.
