Monitor your site's SSL/TLS certificate, expiry, and protocol support with a clear security grade.
SSL Monitor checks your site's certificate (issuer, expiry and SANs) and which TLS protocol versions it supports. It gives you a simple green, amber or red grade from your WordPress dashboard.
Features
- An on-demand certificate check with a green, amber or red grade.
- A cipher scan with strong, weak and insecure ratings, folded into the grade.
- Scheduled automatic checks through WP-Cron, with a configurable interval.
- Email alerts before a certificate expires, at the days you choose (30, 14, 7 and 1 by default), and on the day it expires. Alerts also go out when the security grade drops, on cipher drift, and when an endpoint becomes unreachable.
- Optional alerts to a generic webhook, Slack or Microsoft Teams. Each is off until you configure it under Settings > Alert channels.
- A notice across wp-admin while a monitored certificate needs attention. Administrators can put the notice off.
- Check history with trend charts.
- A dashboard widget and a shortcode.
